We were just eating a snack after Hannah got home from school, and she was using a Hello Kitty plate. On the plate is a pink Hello Kitty, and a very similar looking kitty in blue. I said that maybe she was called Goodbye Kitty, and Hannah said, “Or Catch You Later Kitty!”

Yesterday we adopted a Chihuahua puppy from friends who could no longer keep her. These pictures are from when we visited at her previous home in early December, so she’s a little bigger now. She had a kind of rough night of crate training, but she’s very smart will probably take to training very well. This is Hannah’s dream dog, and she was so happily surprised when Jeremy brought her home! We are trying to think of a new name for her. Bella is a cute name, but we want to make her our own.

Last night I was sewing parts of my quilt together and I complained that there was a small pucker. Hannah waited a couple of seconds, then said, “Well, it is what it is.”
